RECORRIDOS POR ZONAS PRECARIAS
The Project Recorridos por Zonas Precarias was produced by Sala Parpalló from 5th May to 8th June 2011. It comprised a laboratory of interventions: talks, open debates, micro-projects, actions… From a strategic point of view, the project was a mechanism with the aims of generating resources and tools by means of participative dynamics: prosperous versus precarious, imparting knowledge and reinventing intervention practices in reality.
Initially, this project stemmed from my research carried out as a visual artist, through my incursions in the field of interventions in the public space. It was thanks to several stays and collaborations with other artists and groups of activists that we were able to come in contact, study in depth and end up carrying out different initiatives, whose common denominator was and is the use of the artistic practice as a tool for public intervention with a view to total transformation.
