INSTALLATION: “GEOGRAPHY OF THE WOUND”
Installation of videos/photos/drawings/text
Every society is made up of an archeology of scars: a memory of wounds which society organizes legally. A geography of hidden wounds that live in the silence of our own personal territories, with which we have to live and of which we form a part. Cracks we cannot name, which are unknown to us and which often, even though we do, we refuse to recognise.
In order to urge, reveal or convoke an approximation to this naming process; the installation sets up a relationship between words and images which attempts to locate experiences and the traces they leave behind. A visual poem that, over the years of its materialization, has been mutating, depending on the field of research in process and the contexts in which it has been shown.
